In the spring of 2010, Josiah had a revelation of God’s goodness and his own waywardness. He accepted the grace of God's sacrifice of Jesus and following his conversion experience, Josiah was filled with a passion for being a catalyst for transforming his generation; particularly the young people. He figured that the best way to do this is to follow the example of Jesus and share the message of Christ’s unconditional love. Shortly afterwards, he started a Facebook group called A Generation That Seeks, which became a forum for spiritual conversation, Biblical exposition, and personal counseling via messaging and posting opportunities. Also during this time, he coached junior high and high school sports and was heavily involved in his community. On New Year’s Eve of 2011, he met Alicia Stauffer at an Ohio State/Indiana basketball game.

A comical misunderstanding turned into a long-

distance relationship and on July 20, 2013 they

were married.

Alicia was born into a Christian family as well, but unlike the nomadic life of Josiah, she never moved from her home until she went away to college (their wedding was even in her backyard.) Growing up, Alicia longed to do two things--please God and get married.  Along with those dreams came a passion to be prepared for a life serving God. She recalls having conversations with her mom about wanting to be tougher just in case God called her to be a missionary and live in a hut. She was homeschooled her entire school career and graduated from a Christian co-op group. She graduated from Huntington University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies. Although Alicia accepted Christ as her savior when she was six, it wasn’t until 2012 that she started taking her calling seriously. Alicia loves working with girls and wants to be an example to them. She loves coffee shops, having serious and fun conversations, and flipping through decorating magazines.

Josiah and Alicia believe that ministry is teamwork and take it very seriously. They have both enjoyed mission trips ranging from Kenya to India. They are excited about the possibility of doing more short term trips in the future. They are also enjoying the adventure of being parents to two beautiful girls, Lillianna and Jubilee.
